Amber & Stephen were so much fun during their engagement session! I honestly can say that when we met, I felt like I was hanging out with old friends more than new clients. We have so much in common with one another from our baseball love to our chilled out personalities! These two were perfect! Our first stop during our session was to Globe Life Park in Arlington where the Texas Rangers play, for one more season atleast! Stephen is a grounds keeper at the stadium and has been for 13 seasons, growing up playing ball and now coaching, his love for the game runs deep. We were so excited to be able to shoot inside the stadium, and we had it all to ourselves!
My favorite quote that I recently read comparing baseball to love is this one...
"You give me those bottom of the ninth, two outs, last at bat, bases loaded, GRANDSLAM, butterflies kind of feelings."
If you have ever played ball in your life, you know that feeling... and finding the love of your life and trying to explain those feelings... this is very close! I can remember those feelings growing up playing softball and I can relate them to the moment I met my husband, to the memories of walking down the aisle to him at our wedding and to those feelings of watching him hold our children for the first time. Those feelings run deep and last a lifetime. Amber and Stephen's love is starting on a firm foundation of love, I could tell by the few hours we spent together... by the way Amber giggled at Stephen before they shared a kiss, and by the way Stephen looked at Amber when she wasn't looking. New love.... it's my fav- it's my jam!
After the stadium we traveled down the street to a local park to shoot a little more in new outfits! Now let me tell you, you are about to witness a real life fairytale! These two... I can't even... go see for yourself! You'd never know that we were nestled on the side of a bike/walking/running/sprinting path with people all around! We made it work and I am soooo happy we did!
I am so excited for Amber and Stephen's wedding this Summer! I just know it is going to be a grand celebration, and I cannot wait to document it for them!
