Farmers Branch Historical Park Wedding-Elizabeth & Michael

As soon as I pulled up to this quaint historical park, I was in love! Old and historical buildings and this chapel... breathtaking! It was the perfect venue for Elizabeth and Michael's intimate wedding ceremony! I remember walking up knowing this day was going to be beautiful because just the day before the forecast was calling for thunderstorms all day.... we woke up to 0% chance of rain! God is so good isn't he?!

All the way from New York, Michael's mom, dad, sister and handsome little nephew joined Elizabeth's family inside the chapel as the harpist played beautiful notes just before Elizabeth walked down the aisle. Michael's best friend officiated the wedding and really nailed marriage on the head with a scripture from the bible....

"Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish." -Ephesians 5:22-27

Laughter and tears filled the chapel as the two exchanged vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife! What an amazing thing to witness!

I am so thankful for the trust my brides and grooms put in me to document this special day, to have these memories for a lifetime! And for these two kind hearted teachers, I couldn't have been happier to be there!

Elizabeth & Michael, I pray your marriage is filled with faith, love, happiness, understanding and compassion.

XOXO,

Mandy
