Summer Wedding in Georgetown | Tasha + Nick

Tasha and Nick were married on a warm Summer day in July at Reunion Ranch in Georgetown, Texas! The day was beautiful and not a cloud in the sky and a small breeze through the Texas Hill Country was just the perfect addition to this day. Reunion Ranch sits on the outskirts of Georgetown with open field views, outdoor ceremony space and a great reception barn! It honestly was the perfect location for Tasha and Nick to get married!

When I arrived to the bridal suite I was met with smiling kiddos of the bride and bridesmaids, laughter and a table full of fruit snacks (how did they know I love those?!). Throughout the getting ready process I was not only able to capture Tasha and her bridesmaids getting ready I was also able to witness Tasha being a mommy to her one year old son! See, I had never met Tasha before (in real life) but I knew in just a few minutes of being there what kinda of person she was just by watching her interact with her baby & friends... a caring, a loving, a true friend, a daughter, a mother and soon to be a wife. A wedding day prior to the ceremony is usually a chaotic and stressful but Tasha handled it like a champ and did so with a baby on her hip! #momgoals I am just going to give this mom a slow and long applause.................................... You go girl!

As the ceremony began, Nick carried their son down the aisle and to his grandma and the smile on his face was evident, this was the best day of his life!! See the images below of Nick and their son, so cute! Nick's joyful smile quickly grew and added a few tears as he watched his beautiful bride walk down the aisle towards him... BEST DAY EVER! A short and sweet - to the point ceremony concluded with an applause from family and friends as Nick kissed his bride!!

The reception celebration was full of dancing, BBQ, hilarious photo booth props and a conga line started by the best mother of the bride! But one of my favorite moments is when Tasha and Nick trusted me to get out of their reception for 15 minutes while the sun was setting to take a few more pictures... Seriously it was amazing and so worth it (in my humble opinion of course)! The evening was cooling down, the golden hour was there and the couple had a few moments alone (well with me) to take a breather from the busy reception and to really focus on soaking up the moment together.

I can tell you something, I don't travel often for weddings just yet and I pick and choose which ones I travel for... I am so glad this was one of those weddings. I don't think anything is a coincidence or happens for no reason, I believe there is purpose and meaning behind while I am there for each one of my couples... my number one priority is photographing (hello they are paying me to do this...) but a close second is to serve my clients, to help make their day easier, run smoothly, take away stress and love on them!

Nick and Tasha, I am so thankful for your trust, your love story and most importantly the way you love each other and your precious son! Marriage can be a hard thing once you're out of the honeymoon phase, it's not always easy. There will be times of frustration, fights and tears but trust me, it is always something worth fighting for. Remember these first time feelings, read back on your love story and grow closer to God together!

All my love for your future together!

Mandy
